Dayaan's first few weeks at home

These past few weeks have been a whirlwind but a blessing for sure! We're all still adjusting to the new addition and trying to get back into some kind of routine if that's even possible. But enjoy the pictures, I'll keep updating when I get a chance to. I'm still trying to figure out how to upload digital videos so that you can all see us in action!

Jaleel's 4th Birthday

Jaleel had his 4th Birthday party a day before his actual birth date just because it was a Sunday. We had a barbecue with hotdogs and hamburgers. It turned out great apart from the fact that we weren't very organized, this time round. We had a barbecue......with no ketchup (tomato sauce) and mustard??? Well, what kind of barbecue is that? I told you we weren't organized, I just had a baby for crying out loud...what did you expect! Ha..ha...
His theme this year was "Spiderman" since that's his current superhero favourite.

Dayaan's big day.....Happy Birthday!

Dayaan Haleem Ibn Odell Abdur-Raheem has finally arrived!! It feels just as exciting the fourth time round than it did with the first. Perhaps even more exciting since there's more family members to welcome him to this world. He came a week early which is good since his due date was the same day as Jaleel's birthday. The delivery went well, can't complain. Dayaan was delivered at about 11:36 AM on the 8th of March. He weighed 7-5.6 pounds to be exact and measured 18.5 inches.

My baby shower!

My mother-in-law Juanita gave me a baby shower on the Sunday before my delivery. It was definitely a surprise since I wasn't expecting one, especially since it was my 4th pregnancy. I got plenty of gifts from family and friends, which was nice.

It snowed in Houston!!!

These are some pictures that were taken on the 24th and 25th of Dec. 2004. The day snow fell on Houston, that's right HOUSTON!!!! The last time it snowed here I think it was in 1989, that's what Odell told me anyway. So since this is my first experience seeing snow fall as well as the kids', we just had to take some pictures!
